The New Purlieu Review seeks essays, short fiction, artwork, photos and poems that address the unique issues of living in our time.

Issue 2/2011, Desire, will examine how and what we want in these times of technological excess and economic deficits. Do we want more love, more food, more time? Do we desire
more or less human contact than we did twenty years ago? How has the internet changed our sense of Enough?
